ABOUT

Born in Sicily. In 2006 I graduated in Communication Sciences at the University of Bologna, where I used to work as a radio journalist for 2 years. After graduating I took a workshop with Magnum photographer David Alan Harvey.

Moved to Milan, I attended the Master in Photojournalism at the Kaverdash Academy, and started to work as an assistant. At the same time, I started working as a freelance, publishing on The Globe and Mail, The National Post, the South China Morning Post, Espresso, Sportweek, Manifesto, and various others publications. Since March 2010 I’m represented by OTNPhotos agency.

My interests focuses on social and environmental issues. I like exploring cultures and connecting people with my photos, their lives, their situations: I believe this is the most powerful way to encourage communication between different cultures.

I’m actually based in Milan.
